Save Your Subtitle Style Once, Apply It to Every Video
Recreating your subtitle design from scratch for every new video wastes time and introduces inconsistency. CutSnap's Style Profiles let you save your complete visual configuration — font, size, colour, background, shadow, and position — and apply it to any project with a single click.
What a Style Profile contains
A Style Profile is a named snapshot of every property in the style inspector: fontFamily, fontSize, fontWeight, color, backgroundColor, backgroundOpacity, borderRadius, textShadow (x, y, blur, color), verticalPosition, horizontalAlignment, lineHeight, letterSpacing, and direction (LTR/RTL). It is stored as a JSON document in your account and associated with your organisation.
Creating and editing profiles
To create a profile, configure the style inspector to your liking, click the overflow menu in the Style panel, and select "Save as Profile". You can name the profile and add an optional description. To edit an existing profile, apply it to a project, make changes, and save over it — or save as a new profile to keep the original intact.
Applying profiles across the team
Style Profiles are scoped to your organisation, not just your personal account. Every team member who has access to your CutSnap workspace can apply the same saved profiles to their projects. This makes it easy to enforce brand guidelines without sending style specification documents or training new team members on your exact settings.
How many Style Profiles can I save?
Free accounts can save up to 3 Style Profiles. Paid plans have unlimited profiles.
Can I export a Style Profile to share with someone outside my organisation?
Profile export as a JSON file is on the roadmap. Currently profiles are shared within an organisation automatically.
Does applying a Style Profile overwrite my current style settings?
Yes, applying a profile replaces all current style settings with the profile values. You can undo the action if you applied the wrong profile.
